33Fifty - A Youth Leadership Programme linked to the Commonwealth Games

22nd January 2014

33Fifty is a leadership programme for Commonwealth citizens aged between 18 and 25. It aims to develop young leaders to bring people together, reconcile differences, lead change and use the Commonwealth’s networks effectively. It is delivered by Common Purpose and the Royal Commonwealth Society, with half of the funding coming from the Scottish Government.

The programme will bring together 100 people from Scotland, the UK and the Commonwealth who will have in-depth conversations with talented leaders from all sectors, and behind-the-scenes visits to an incredible range of organisations and institutions across Glasgow and Edinburgh.

Of the 100 participants, 1/3 will be Scottish nationals, and 1/3 Commonwealth citizens living in the UK.

Young people should apply at www.33fifty.org/apply by March 16th

Visit the 33Fifty website at www.33fifty.org or see Facebook and twitter to find out more.

If you have any questions please email Kirsten.johnson@commonpurpose.org, who is leading on the project.
