Members vote to change constitution

LEAP Sports Scotland would like to announce that we are currently in the process of changing our governance arrangements.

We will change from a two tier to a single tier constitution within the Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO) model, under the provisions of the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005. On Monday 7th November, the members of the charity voted unanimously in favour of this important constitutional change. LEAP Sports was first established in 2010 and incorporated as a two tier SCIO in 2012.

Chair of the Board of Trustees Frazer Robertson said: LEAP Sports is a dynamic and evolving organisation. Whilst this change will have no impact on the high quality of services we have become known for providing, it will allow us to develop a more fit for purpose structure and more meaningful relationships with our many stakeholders, and our Board look forward to driving these developments”.

You can get in touch with our team via info@leapsports.org if you have any questions regarding these changes or the process.
