About the club

Strathspey Camanachd is a community-based shinty club serving the Strathspey and Strathdearn areas of the Scottish Highlands. We provide opportunities for people of all ages to play, learn, and enjoy shinty, with a strong focus on youth development, women’s participation, and volunteer engagement. The club currently supports multiple teams, including primary age groups, U14, U17, and a thriving women’s team, with plans to re-establish a men’s section.

When we meet

• Club Training SessionsWednesday 6:00pm
  There are training sessions available for P1–P4, P5–P7, U14, U17, and adult’s squads. Training sessions involve a warm up, then a few drills focused on skills and we usually end with a game.

Cost

Free to come and try, membership is £75 and includes a stick helmet and insurance.
