Just Active Project Assistant

LEAP Sports are looking to recruit an Project Assistant to work at our office in Glasgow as part of the Just Active Project. 

The Project Assistant will work with the Volunteer and Activism Coordinator in delivering the Just Active project for LGBTIQ Refugees and Asylum Seekers in Glasgow. Just Active is for LGBTIQ+ refugees and asylum seekers, living in Glasgow, supporting them to get active, participating in sports, socialising and feeling connected to their local communities.

Hours: 8 hours per week

Contract: Fixed term (18 months)

Salary: £4,565 per annum (equivalent to £21,400 per annum pro rata)

We are looking to hear from candidates who have experience in dealing with LGBTIQ and asylum issues. This could be through:

•Personal lived experience

•Work experience supporting LGBTIQ persons seeking asylum
