About the club
Clyde Amateur Rowing Club are a rowing club open to anyone who’s interested in rowing, whether beginner or elite rower. Our membership includes rowers of all ages and levels of ability. Individual goals range from staying fit to competing in local, national or international regattas. Clyde ARC offers opportunities for persons with disabilities to learn to row and participate as recreational or competitive members.
While we’re not explicitly or exclusively an LGBTQI+ club, we are inclusive, and we strive to create a friendly and supportive environment for anyone who’s interested in rowing, whether recreationally or competitively. We work to make inclusivity a central part of decision-making within the club, and our coaching team strive to create an atmosphere which allows anyone to enjoy the sport.
