Clydesdale Amateur Rowing Club

Water Based Sports in Glasgow

About the club

Formed in 1857, Clydesdale ARC is based at the West Boathouse in Glasgow Green, which has been our home since 1905.

With a strong focus on equality, diversity and inclusion. Our mission is to make all the fun of rowing accessible and inclusive, along with contributing to the river community. We aim to provide a warm and welcoming environment for all so rowing can be enjoyed to the fullest. No one should feel like rowing is not ‘for’ them.

Clydesdale ARC supports different levels of involvement, so whether you are a complete beginner interested in casual participation, or competing at Henley or World Masters there is an active squad and support for you.

We are not exclusively LGBT but we are an inclusive club, open to anyone with an interest in rowing.
