About the club

Glasgow Gazelles is a queer run, warm, welcoming basketball collective and the sister team of the London-based Hackney Gazelles and Paris Gazelles. Together we strive to create a competitive, supportive and encouraging environment within which we can learn basketball, stimulate new friendships and strengthen existing bonds. We welcome women and all trans and non-binary people to our sessions. We do not tolerate intimidating and aggressive behaviour. Whether you’re a veteran, or it’s your first time, Glasgow Gazelles is for you.

When we meet

  5.30-6.30pm We are currently seeking a new venue to train in from September 2025. Contact us nearer the time for up to date info. Arc Recreation Centre, Glasgow Caledonian University, Cowcaddens Road, Glasgow, G4 0BA

Cost

As a non-profit collective we pay £6 each per session to cover the cost of sports hall hire. However if that isn’t feasible for anyone who would like to attend due to low income etc then we ask that you message us directly via Instagram or email.
