General Fitness and Wellbeing in Glasgow
About the club
Get Back OUT is a peer support group focussed on helping LGBTIQ+ people feel comfortable about getting out of the house, getting active, and offers a sense of community to those who are isolated and/or feeling lonely. Open to all LGBTIQ+ adults aged 18+ who are based in the Greater Glasgow area.
Activities and sports on offer are varied and tailored to the beginner level. Past activities have included paddle boarding, kayaking, hiking, archery, basketball, snowboarding, and many more. We attempt to organise at least 2 events every month.
Get Back OUT also offers skill-based workshops to participants to increase confidence and knowledge in community advocacy and leadership. We are always open to suggestions on how to improve the programme!
Join the Facebook group or email Carolina to get involved.
Operates within the Greater Glasgow area, which includes the following councils: Glasgow City, North Lanarkshire, South Lanarkshire, West Dunbartonshire, East Dunbartonshire, Renfrewshire, East Renfrewshire and Inverclyde.
