Celebrating Scotland’s FvH Award Winners
13th February 2026
Congratulations to Ibrox Pride
Earlier this year, we shared the shortlist of outstanding Scottish groups working to make football more inclusive and welcoming for LGBTQ+ communities through the Football v Homophobia (FvH) Awards. Today we’re delighted to celebrate the official winners, and what a year it’s been.
Following the inspiring FvH Awards ceremony in London, Scottish football made its mark with some truly deserving winners who are driving positive change across communities.
1st place - Ibrox Pride A massive congratulations to Ibrox Pride, our Scotland Award category champions. Their work building visibility, support, and connection among Rangers fans and the wider Glasgow community continues to set a powerful example. They were also 2nd place in the supporters group category, showing the energy and impact of their work across multiple fronts.
2nd place - Stenhousemuir Rainbow Warriors Taking silver, the Rainbow Warriors have been leading inclusive football initiatives in their local area with passion and creativity. Their commitment to safe spaces and community engagement shines through everything they do.
3rd place - Slay FC Rounding out the podium, Slay FC continues to challenge barriers and celebrate LGBTQ+ identity in the sport. Their grassroots efforts are building confidence and belonging on and off the pitch.
Thank you to all three, and to everyone across Scottish football striving for inclusion. Your dedication is changing the game for the better.
The success of these groups at the FvH Awards reinforces a powerful message: inclusivity in football is not just a goal, it’s happening. From supporter communities to grassroots teams, advocates from across Scotland are creating spaces where LGBTQ+ fans and players feel welcomed, supported, and celebrated.
These wins aren’t just trophies, they represent stronger community ties, greater visibility for LGBTQ+ supporters and players, and tangible progress towards safer and more inclusive environments. Let's keep the momentum going for 2026-27.
