Erasmus+ project participants discuss the project

Participants met with Maree Todd, MSP and Minister for Sport in the Scottish Government. They talked about the project and the need for inclusive and participative opportunities and environments for LGBTIQ+ young people to be able to make the best choices around their own health and wellbeing. 

Young people also talked about the lifechanging impact that the Erasmus+ programme has had on their lives and on their youth and LGBTIQ+ activism work locally too. They expressed their dissapointment at the UK withdrawal from the Erasmus+ programme and the Minister heard their concerns agreeing to input this in to current ongoing discussions about Scotland's place in such projects including Erasmus+ in the future.
