Pride Youth Games 2020 cancelled

Pride Youth Games will now take place in Largs 6th-8th August 2021

This year's Games were originally due to take place in August, and discussions have been ongoing for some time about the Games being postponed until late 2020 or early 2021. After further consideration and consultation, the UK-wide organising committee reached a decision to cancel the Games for this year.  

The Games rotate between Scotland, Wales and England year to year and were originally due to take place in Scotland this year and Wales in 2021. We are grateful to our Welsh colleagues for agreeing to move their Games from 2021 to 2022.  

Pride Youth Games is a joint initiative of LEAP Sports, Pride Sports and LGBT Sport Cymru, offering a space where LGBTIQ+ young people can come together and experience sport, physical activity and wellbeing activities in a safe, supported, inclusive environment.  You can find out more about Pride Youth Games at this link, and if you are a young person in Scotland interested in joining the youth steering group then please email anghi@leapsports.org
