Qeltic Games 2026 Registration Opens
3rd March 2026
Registration now open for first sports
Registration is now open for the first sports at the 2026 Qeltic Games, with athletes and teams invited to sign up for pickleball, badminton, tennis and football ahead of the multi-sport event taking place in Glasgow on 2nd May 2026.
The Qeltic Games is a grassroots multi-sport event bringing together LGBTIQ+ sports teams, athletes and allies from across Scotland, the UK and Ireland to compete, connect and celebrate inclusive sport.
Following the success of the inaugural Games in Perth in 2024, this year’s event will return with an expanded programme and even more opportunities for participants to get involved.
Registration has opened for the first four competitions in this year’s programme:
These tournaments will form part of a packed weekend of sport and community activity when the Games take place in Glasgow this May. More sports will be announced in the coming weeks, giving even more people the chance to take part.
Organised by LEAP Sports, the Qeltic Games aims to create a welcoming and inspiring environment where participants of all abilities can compete, meet new people and celebrate LGBTIQ+ inclusion in sport.
As well as competition, the Games offer a unique opportunity for athletes, clubs and supporters to come together in a festival atmosphere that highlights the diversity and strength of queer sport.
The 2026 Games also form part of a wider year of activity celebrating inclusive sport in Scotland, building on the momentum created through the All In programme and other events taking place across the country as part of the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
Visit the Qeltic Games website to find out more and register.
More announcements about additional sports and opportunities to get involved will follow soon, so keep an eye out for updates as the countdown to the 2026 Qeltic Games continues.
