Qeltic Games goes All In
23rd January 2026
Commonwealth Games countdown event in Paisley
LEAP Sports joined Finnie, community partners, and local residents in Paisley to jump All In for the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games, as communities across the country marked six months to go until Scotland welcomes the biggest sporting event in the nation this year.
All In is the national call to action for Glasgow 2026, inviting communities, sport and cultural organisations, schools, voluntary groups and businesses across Scotland to get involved, have some fun and celebrate the Games in their own way. It’s about creating inclusive, accessible, community-led activity that brings people together and builds excitement ahead of an incredible summer of Scottish sport.
As part of this movement, we’re delighted to confirm that Qeltic Games is going All In this year, with the 2026 Qeltic Games launching today as part of All In and the Commonwealth Games legacy journey. The Games will take place in Glasgow on the 1st and 2nd May this year, with registration for the first sports, badminton, football, pickleball and tennis tournaments opening early February.
LEAP will deliver a summer of engagement for LGBTIQ+ people, creating opportunities to take part, connect and celebrate. Our programme will include the Qeltic Games at the start of May, Festival Fortnight in June, and Pride House during the Commonwealth Games.
Pride House will be a welcoming hub for LGBTIQ+ people and allies during the Games, a place to watch the Games, to meet others and feel part of the wider Glasgow 2026 event. It will also create space for thoughtful discussion about LGBTIQ+ equality, inclusion and social justice, exploring the complex history, contemporary position and future of the Commonwealth.
