Football v Homophobia Scotland support Wear Red Day 2024
16th October 2024

The Football v Homophobia Scotland team are supporting Show Racism the Red Card's Wear Red Day this October the 18th.
On the tenth anniversary of Wear Red Day we are joining tens of thousands of people across the country standing up against racism. Show Racism the Red Card is the UK's leading anti-racism charity, utilising the high-profile status of football and football players to help tackle racism in society.
This weekend, the 18th-20th of October 2024, will see match action across Scotland, with all 62 professional football clubs in the country taking part. As the Scotland campaign manager, Billy Singh, says: 'Football fans can be a force for good and by being active anti-racists we can change hearts, minds and lives.'
At Football v Homophobia Scotland, we understand the importance of an intersectional approach to inclusion. We encourage all the clubs in the Football v Homophobia Scotland network to show your support for the campaign and educate yourselves about anti-racism in football.
