Gay Games meet Team Scotland

LEAP Sports and Team Scotland participants were joined by the Gay Games València organising team for a meeting in December, where organisers took time to answer questions, share key information, and help participants feel supported as planning begins for Gay Games València 2026. We’re hugely grateful to the organisers for making space to connect directly with Team Scotland, and for the encouraging and welcoming approach they brought to the conversation.

That early support reflects the spirit at the heart of the Gay Games & bringing people together through inclusion, community and the shared joy of sport. With Gay Games València 2026 taking place in June 2026, excitement is already building, and it’s fantastic to see Team Scotland starting to take shape. Participants from Scotland are already confirmed in tennis, rowing, running, football and badminton, offering an early glimpse of the energy and ambition across Scotland’s LGBTIQ+ sporting community.

As preparations continue, we will keep sharing updates and opportunities for participants to connect and support each other on the road to València.
