Glasgow FrontRunners International Women's Day Run
7th March 2018
Join Glasgow FrontRunners for their Thursday night run and social to celebrate International Women's day!
You can choose to run with one of 4 groups which range from a Couch to 5k group to a 10k group. Each group is led by a Jog Scotland qualified jog leader and a support jog leader for slower-paced runners in the group - no one is left behind! This week they have a wonderful cast of all female Jog Leaders. On each route they will try and incorporate the Suffragette Tree in Kelvingrove Park.
After the run they will be heading to Vapiano which is at the top of Buchanan Street. Meet in the foyer after the run and everyone will head down. More info can be found here on the event page.
It would be great to get as many people along to this run and social as possible to pass the message on and let's get as many Wonder Women (and Men) running through the streets of Glasgow in support of International Women's Day.
As always GFR meet, warm up and start off from The Arc at Caledonian University. Changing rooms and showering facilities with individual cubicles are available for a nominal £1 charge.
Please arrive at 6.15pm to change and start warm-up prompt at 6.30pm.
Jogscotland Jog Leaders are available at every run, to offer guidance, care and control over the run(s) and to the runners. If you are unsure which run to join, please ask one of the Jog Leaders for assistance, as you may wish to choose your run by either pace or distance, depending on your level of fitness and experience. If you have any specific requirements or health issues, just let our Jog Leaders know before the run starts.
