Get Out Glasgow December News
12th December 2024
The Get Out Glasgow group provides free introductions to sport and physical activity for LGBTIQ+ people in Greater Glasgow.
Over the past month our participants have completed the badminton coaching course with Badminton Central, others have completed a 16 week learning to skate and play roller derby course with Glasgow Roller Derby. Check out Robin's story about learning to play badminton here.
We hosted a Winter Social for all our Glasgow based projects which involved a walk around Queens Park and some lovely food from A.Pastry at Govanhill Baths - The Deep End venue.
Annual feedback
What a great year we've had with curling, tap dancing, weightlifting, archery, cycling, tango, golf, roller derby, orienteering and badminton! Please take 10 minutes to provide some feedback on your experience of the Get Out Glasgow programme over the past year and to let us know what activities you’d like to do next year. It is really important for us to continue to improve and secure funding to provide this access to sport and physical activity programme.
