Perth Parrots Visit Cardiff
7th February 2026
Kickstarting EuroGames 2027 Preparations
Six representatives from Perth Parrots and Team Scotland travelled to Cardiff in late January to begin preparations for the 2027 EuroGames, where they will proudly serve as floorball organisers.
Flying into Bristol and bussing to Cardiff, the group were immediately impressed by everything the Welsh capital has to offer. The EuroGames Cardiff organising team warmly welcomed the delegation with a drinks reception, providing a valuable opportunity to meet fellow sport organisers, share ideas and build new connections ahead of 2027.
A key focus of the visit was a tour of the proposed floorball venue. The group carried out a full “dry run”, trialling public transport links to ensure a smooth experience for future participants. The venue itself proved to be an excellent fit, a fantastic addition to the event and more than capable of meeting the needs of players, officials and supporters alike.
Of course, no visit would be complete without taking in some of the sights. The team enjoyed exploring the city, including Cardiff Bay, and enjoying an ice hockey match returning home energised and excited to start putting their plans firmly into action.

With preparations now underway, Perth Parrots are looking forward to delivering an outstanding floorball competition at EuroGames Cardiff 2027.
