What's been happening: Out & About in Perth and Tayside

2024 has been a busy and successful year for Out & About in Perth and Tayside. To celebrate, we are heading to the Hermitage in Dunkeld on Saturday 21st December for a festive stroll followed by a coffee in a cosy café. We welcome all project participants and their friends/family to join!

Looking ahead to the new year, we are partnering with Kinross Curling for a ‘Learn to Curl’ programme, which begins on the 17th January. Everything you need will be provided, just bring some warm clothes. Sign up here.

With the ever increasing popularity of Pickleball, we are offering another course starting in January in Perth. This will be led by Pickleball Scotland Ambassadors. These sessions will be suitable for all levels of experience, and everything you need will be provided.

Additionally, we are adding another racquet sport to the list of LGBTIQ+ inclusive activities in Dundee! Keep an eye out for further information on coached badminton sessions which will be on socials very soon.

Finally, we have some spaces left for our bowling social on Saturday 8th February. Our scores will be submitted as an ‘Out and About In Perthshire and Tayside’ entry to LEAP Sports North Community Cup, where the team with the best score will win the trophy! Will we be the 2025 victors?
