Edinburgh Kayak Club

Water Based Sports in EDINBURGH

About the club

Edinburgh Kayak Club is a friendly group of paddlers based in and around Edinburgh. It has an active and growing membership that enjoys getting out and enjoying Scotland’s rivers, lochs and sea in both canoes and kayaks. We may also visit the occasional tea room or pub! Our aim is to introduce and promote the sport and enjoyment of canoeing and kayaking to people of all skill levels within a friendly and sociable atmosphere. Promoting equality and diversity is enshrined in the Constitution, Equality Policy and Strategic Development Plan of Edinburgh Kayak Club. Although Edinburgh Kayak Club strives to create an inclusive environment for the LGBTI community, it’s worth noting that they are not an exclusively LGBTI sports club
