LGBTIQ+ Legacy Quilt

As part of the 2018 European Championships in Glasgow, groups of pupils in schools across Scotland created quilt panels representing LGBTIQ+ equality in sport. The result is a stunning colourful quilt with more than 30 creative and thoughtfully designed panels, and an accompanying display booklet showing the . The quilt toured schools across Scotland from August 2018 until March 2020 giving thousands of young people the opportunity to discuss equality and diversity in sport and physical activity.

There is no cost to borrow the quilt, but you will be required to cover postage costs. If you want to check availability, email us at info@leapsports.org

Trans people in sport

This gorgeous black and white photo exhibition is designed to highlight the positive impact that sport and physical activity can have on the lives of transgender people. Created by Slovenian photographer Tina Smid as part of the European Solidarity Corps, these 20 photo and 3 information panels can be used to celebrate, challenge and explore. You can see some of the photos here

The exhibition is prepared in a modern lightweight manner, to increase flexibility in transporting it and in exhibiting it. There is no cost to use the exhibition, but you will be required to cover postage costs. If you want to check availability, email us at info@leapsports.org

Against the Rules & My EuroGames Story

These two exhibitions can be borrowed from the European Gay & Lesbian Sports Federation. Against the Rules is a series of pop-up info panels of many of the trailblazing lesbian and gay athletes throughout our sports history. My EuroGames Story is a poster exhibition of LGBTIQ+ people from around Europe who have experienced the power and benefits of community sport through the annual EuroGames tournament.
