From April to September 2025 we ran an LGBTIQ+ women’s cycling programme funded by Wheels in Motion. The programme included a cycle confidence course, bike maintenance classes and a cycle touring course.

Touch Rugby and Squash

From May to June 2025 we ran an introduction to squash programme with Scottish Squash Rackets Club which included a taster session, followed by a 4 week course. Maja was a participant in the squash programme.

Learning to climb

Get Out Glasgow is a project that utilises physical activity to improve mental wellbeing for the LGBTIQ+ adults in Greater Glasgow. From January to March 2025 we ran an introduction to climbing programme with Glasgow Queer Adventures (GQA) which included a bouldering taster session and top-roping taster and course, after which participants would be able to climb independently.
Learning to play badminton

Weightlifting a couple's story of empowerment

Get Out Glasgow provides physical activity taster sessions and short courses for LGBTIQ+ over 18s who are based in Greater Glasgow. In January 2024 we ran an introduction to weightlifting taster session at AG Fitness. This was followed by an 8 week introduction to weightlifting course which ran from March to May 2024.
