Call for contributions: Diverse Identities in Sport conference

Diverse Identities in Sport is a free one-day conference for all those who are interested in LGBTI equality issues within sport.  The conference will take place at the Teacher Building in Glasgow on Friday November 2nd 2018. 

We currently have an open call for contributors and if you have ideas then you can submit proposals to contribute to the conference by clicking here.  We are looking for a range of contributions including from academics, from sports practitioners and from sports clubs or initiatives with good practice to share. We have a wide interest in LGBTI sports issues but would be particularly keen on hearing from contributors on issues concerning LGBTI sport  portrayal in media, intersectionality, good practices around queer and non-binary inclusion and intersections between physical, mental and sexual health. The deadline for proposals or abstracts is Friday 21st September.
