Fancy trying a new sport in 2024? 

Our LGBTIQ+ inclusive club network across Scotland has a range of beginners intake sessions including hiking, mountain biking, fencing, roller derby, running, rugby, paddle boarding, football, cycling and dance parties for over 50s!

WEST

Culture Club Dance Parties for over 50s

The Culture Club Collective is a group which was formed to celebrate the lives of LGBTQIA Elders, to create places where we can connect, have a blether, and have a good time. It is specially designed for older LGBTQIA people, but all are welcome who want to come and uplift this group and join the party!

Glasgow Frontrunners Couch to 5k 9 week programme begins on Thursday 11th January. Registration here for £14 (£7 concessions)

East Kilbride Pirates American Football Club

East Kilbride Pirates have appointed Matthew Davies a new coach. The club will host the open try-outs between 11am-3pm at Hamilton Palace on January 14 for anyone interested in getting involved in American football. Players of all genders, shapes and sizes are welcome, but participants must be aged 19 or over.

Glasgow Inclusive Cycle Club

Glasgow Inclusive Cycle Club have a ride to the Falkirk Wheel on Saturday 13th January, an all abilities spin class on Saturday 20th January at Strathclyde University, a ride to Lochwinnoch on Saturday 27th and a velodrome taster session on Sunday 28th January! Gender Goals

Gender Goals is Glasgow's new trans and non-binary football club who will be joining the Goals 5 and 7s league in 2024. Keep an eye on their Instagram for more info!

Volleyball

Volleyball for the Soul's upcoming sessions are on Saturday 13th and 20th January from 10-11.30am and Saturday 27th January from 1-2.30pm at The Arc at Glasgow Caledonian University. Contact Bill@leapsports.org for more info.

Cairngorms Pride Paddlers

Cairngorms Pride Paddlers celebrated their 1st year in December and have just joined our club network. Keep an eye on their Instagram for upcoming events!

Aberdeen Frontrunners Couch to 5k starts on Wednesday 10th January. Registration from £7 or £20 including a years membership.

Aberdeen Taexali are running a beginners rugby open evening on Monday 15th January register for the event here.

Edinburgh Frontrunners

Edinburgh Curveballs

Edinburgh Curveballs have a members squash team tournament coming up on Saturday 6th January - new members included! Teams will be selected at random and everyone will get lots of games.

Auld Reekie Roller Derby

Auld Reekie Roller Derbys new skater programme runs from Tuesday 13th February to Tuesday 16th April 2024. Every Tuesday (7-9pm) at Leith Academy. Booking opens on Monday 8th January until Monday 29th January register here. Registration costs £100 but subsidies are available until 4th January, apply here.

Dunedin Fencing

Dunedin Fencing have a beginners course starting Sunday 14th January - register here. Their LGBT classes are also on Thursdays from 1830 - 2030 at Leith Community Centre.

Outdoor Lads

Outdoor Lads have a range of activities over the festive period and into the new year including hikes, mountain biking and pub trips across Scotland. See here for more info.
