Scottish Disability Sport Week

Last week, LEAP Sports was proud to support the Scottish Disability Sport Week. Running from 27 November to 3 December, the week raised awarness of the many amazing opportunties there are for disabled people in Scotland to get active and we joined many other partners to signpost opportunities via the online portal.  

During the week. we helped celebrate with a session of wheelchair basketball delivered with our colleagues from Basketball Scotland and Rainbow Glasgaroos.  

We are also keen to particularly highlight intersectional experiences of LGBTIQ+ people, a theme explored in a joint podcast in partnership with Scottish Disability Sport as part of the Seen & Heard podcast series produced last year.
