Out & About Ayrshire
7th February 2024
The Out & About Ayrshire project has had a busy time in recent months.
A big thank you to everyone that showed interest in our Climbing Introductory Course which took place over November and December at Above Adventure in Kilmarnock. The group did amazingly well with 5 climbers being signed off and now able to go climbing in the amazing Above Adventure Centre unaccompanied and unsupervised.

The group have agreed to meet up once a month to continue their climbing experience. If you would like to get involved or give it a try, drop Stuart an email email@example.com and we'll get you connected to the group.
Our festive (indoor) lawn bowling taster session went down a storm, with some expert coaching from Graham Irving-Cole. It was a great way to close off a busy 2023, and due to the enthusiasm from the participating group, we're scoping out a short course around Ayr. Watch this space.
If you've attended any activities and events over the past year or more then we'd love to hear some of your feedback and if it's made any difference to you which you can do by clicking here and filling out the form,
If you've never been before, but you're keen to get active and/or meet some new people around Ayrshire, then check out some of the events coming up below. Or if you prefer to chat to someone first, drop Stuart a line firstname.lastname@example.org
Thanks to some funding in North Ayrshire, we're going to be building on some of our activities in that area over the year ahead, with more badminton and some pickleball in the pipeline. And with paddleboarding, ten pin bowling and maybe some dancing thrown in then it's looking like a busy 2024.
