Throughout the month and in between other events, various clubs participated in the North Community Cup with their own competitions. These include Aberdeen Taexali, Inverness Roller Derby, Inverness Bike Polo, Rainbow Heartlands, The Hive LGBT+ Centre, Out & About in the Highlands, Connexons, Paddle with Pride and Out & About Ayrshire! On 11th February we held the East Community Bowling Cup in World of Bowling, Edinburgh. The teams included members of Colinton Squashers & Padelers, Edinburgh Frontrunners, Edinburgh Racqueteers, and Trans Active Edinburgh. Throughout the games there was a great atmosphere: many teams arrived early to hang out before the games started, and all continued bowling and chatting after their games were finished. On the bowling, congratulations to the Racqueteers for holding their title! And a big thank you to all teams who participated in making a fun, relaxed event for all.

West Community Cup

They took place in the Hollywood Bowl, with familiar faces and new teams alike bowling into the late evening. Groups attended from Glasgow Frontrunners, Truegrip Badminton Club, Saltire Thistle, Glasgow Raptors, Proud Huddle, TransActive and Get Back Out. Thank you to all teams for participating and congratulations to the Glasgow Frontrunners for taking the cup! We hope to see you again next year!
