Short-term immersive residential volunteering placements in Glasgow

Description of the activity

LEAP Sports are looking for 3 volunteers from around Scotland who are interested in coming and living in Glasgow for 3 months and undertaking a short term intense volunteering experience. We are looking to host people who would be interested in continuing to volunteer in their own areas on return by helping to establish new activities or supporting local work.

These placements are funded as part of the European Solidarity Corps and so volunteers should be between 18 and 30 years old. All placements must take place before December 2023. You would support  different areas of work decided by your interests and skills but could involve community or youth work, communications and business support, or policy and campaigning work.

** Ideally we'd like to have one person join us from June through to August to help with Festival Fortnight and Pride events **
