Stay Active with LEAP: Exercise & Yoga Classes

FREE weekly online exercise and yoga classes for the LGBTIQ+ community

Join us on Wednesday and Sunday evenings starting this week for some free online exercise and yoga classes! 

At the start of January, LEAP Sports was awarded a small pot of funding through the Winter Social Wellbeing Fund by Impact Funding Partners. Some of this will be going towards funding weekly online exercise and yoga classes for the LGBTIQ+ community in Scotland, particularly for those who have been feeling more isolated or going through financial difficulties. 

This project aims to improve the mental and physical wellbeing of LGBTIQ+ individuals by providing people a sense of community and giving them the opportunity and motivation to get active and stay healthy.

The first exercise class will start this Wednesday 3rd February from 6-6:50pm, and will run every Wednesday until the end of March. This home workout is being delivered by Coach Huld (they/them) from Underdog Health Revolution. Huld is a trans non-binary personal trainer who has vast experience working with LGBTIQ+ clients.

The first yoga class will start this Sunday 7th February from 5-6pm and will run every Sunday evening until the end of March. These sessions are being delivered by Graham (he/him) from Gathering Energy Yoga. Graham is a qualified yoga instructor with 13 years experience under his belt and has recently started his own business.
