Never heard of Festival Fortnight or already involved before we have a long list of LGBTI+ Sports groups who open their doors during the festival !


Fancy a fun, friendly kick-about?

Ladies Recreational Football & Sports are hosting a joint 5-a-side walking football & football tournament followed by social. This Football v Homophobia Scotland event is open to those who identify as women (incl trans women)

Ever wanted to try football?  this gay friendly football team invite everybody, regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity to come and try out football in a fun environment

Like football but don’t know where you can play in a safe, welcoming environment?

Try it for free with HotScots FC, Scotland’s first LGBT-specific club.Fancy learning to box? Knockout Glasgow is offering free taster sessions.


Tartan Touch is a great game for newcomers whilst offering faster paced options for those with experience.

This event welcomes all genders, sexualities and levels of experience and is followed by a Q & A with Glasgow Alphas

Tartan Touch is a fast and fun way to keep fit for everyone. Don’t worry if you’ve never played, Tartan Touch is a great and easy way to get into rugby, or just keep fit for all ages and abilities.


Come along and have a go at hooks, jabs and uppercuts in a friendly and fun environment! Get fit, learn new skills and meet other LGBTI people. No previous experience required!


Love running? Complete novice? Whoever you are come and try running with Glasgow FrontRunners

If you love running and want to meet more LGBTI people, or if you are a novice and want to try it out in a safe and fun environment then come along to Glasgow FrontRunners taster session

always wanted to get into running? Heres your chance!

Runs for all abilities, with support for beginners. First 3 sessions free. Wear comfortable clothes and trainers/running shoes; showers & changing £1.70. All runs are followed by brunch/dinner and social.


Ever wanted to try out squash?

Well now is your chance as Colinton Squashers, one of Scotland’s LGBTI squash clubs open their doors for Festival Fortnight. It’s okay if you have never played before, this is the perfect opportunity to try out a new sport and meet some like minded people.


If you have always wanted to give badminton a go then look no further, try it out with this friendly LGBTI+ amateur and social badminton club.


LGBT Basketball Group is a friendly and informal weekly group for LGBTQI beginners and regular players alike

The event will be a 1 mile relay swim.

Form teams as large or small as you like and complete the 64 lengths it takes to swim 1 mile! There will also be the smaller training pool for those who wish to come down and participate in the afternoon but don’t feel like a long swim
