Call for a trans or intersex particpant

Are you interested in being a lead on one of our projects?

We are looking for someone who identifies as trans (including non binary) or intersex to join us as a volunteer working on a project starting this October through to next October. We are developing a joint conference which will take place in Berlin in October 2019, delivered by a partnership group from Hungary, Germany, Bulgaria and Scotland.

We will kick off with a meeting in Berlin this October. After this you will work with the LEAP team to help arrange the Scottish input to the conference, and to coordinate the group of delegates from Scotland who will go out to take part in the conference event next year.

Whilst this is a voluntary role, you will make a significant contribution to LGBTIQ+ work within sport, gain experience in collaborative work on the international stage, and will have 2 trips to Berlin, Germany.  

Dates you must be free are 12th-15th October 2018 and 2019 conference dates tbc

This call is not restricted to those already in the LEAP Sports activist network, however we are looking specifically for someone who has had some experience in sport or is involved in playing sport. You can email Sirri to express your interest sirri@leapsports.org
